Box Who we are

Cardboard Box City is a fundraising event held each year through a collaboration between three organizations working to support and serve families, individuals, and youth experiencing homelessness—Family Promise, Rochester; The Salvation Army; and LSS LINK. Prior to the event, youth participants raise pledges in order to spend one night learning about and experiencing what it might be like to live without a roof to protect them. Each dollar raised by participants goes to help families and individuals in our community.

Box How to register

Participants are welcome to sign-up as a group or as an individual.

Groups should print out one “Group Registration Form” for the entire group. In addition, each group member should also complete the “Individual Registration Form” and the “Cardboard Box City Pledge Sheet.”

Individuals should print out the “Individual Registration Form” and the “Cardboard Box City Pledge Sheet.”

Rent goal for each individual is $100, however participants will not be turned away, regardless of pledge total. Prizes are given to groups/individuals with the highest total pledges.
